From 20th February to 4th March, Rivoli Teatro Municipal, Portugal
2012 … the 32nd edition of the Fantas is held under the aegis of the future and celebrate the 30th anniversary of Blade Runner, the true cult films of Fantas. Soon the so-called Pre-Fantas and beyond CARNIVAL special program in which Ed Wood and Dracula theme is, as much film will be shown at the Rivoli and “pulls” an exceptional Special Programme, the FORUM THE FUTURE NOW. After will end as usual with the Vampire’s Ball this year at the Hard Club.
This year many records are beaten. Countries represented: 33. Features to display: about 100. Shorts: Approximately 250! 90% of featured movies in Portugal with a World and one European premiere. 87% of European films or co-production with Europe. Even without the final numbers will Fantasporto’2012 more guests than usual on behalf of the films in competition or to be honored. Everything will take place between February 20 and March 4 at Rivoli Theater.
