I’ve been researching and working on many projects. Maybe, one too many. It’s been a challenging (yet, welcomed) juggle. With, still, so much to do, I now realize this blog is going to be very important. This will be the place where I let you in on a glimpse of life behind Dialect Magazine. Where I capture the journey and what has worked for me.
I hope to offer tips about publishing and resources for entrepreneurs. There are many people like me – who have a great career BUT truly want to work for themselves doing what they are most passionate about. Your time is limited due to many factors including work, family, school, etc. and you need some direction to save you a little time, money, or both. My hope is that I can help you in some way by sharing my journey, or at the very least, resources that I recommend.
Here is one of my faves at the moment:
- Marie TV: mission is to allow you to experience happiness, love, fulfillment and prosperity in every sense of the word.
Here’s a tip:
Use your social networks to show your followers why your business is necessary. Don’t simply use it to post photos or random posts. Your posts should promote and market your industry. Some of the hottest social networks now for businesses are Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram, and Tumblr. Rather than open an account for any and every social network, make sure your choices make sense and the platform attracts the audience you are trying to capture. Tumblr, for example, is more popular among teens but these trends can change overnight. Stay informed and flexible.
