Fashion Week kicked off on Feb 9 with an industry favorite – Duckie Brown. If you were lucky enough to snag a coveted seat like moi, Section C Row 2 seat 8, then you know that the atmosphere was full of energy and anticipation. If you weren’t that lucky, then here is the play by play.
The AW12 collection included Super Duckie showed pieces that were oversized, tweed and stripes galore. My favorite piece was the gray suiting with the purple and orange stripes. Now to the good stuff, who was there? Ms. J Alexander from America’s Next Top Model and Clinton Kelly from What Not to Wear were in the house.
What’s next for the brand? They are designing a collection for Perry Ellis for Spring 13.
