Living in an era of technology, our society is reaching new heights. Reality TV has opened doors to expose more creative venues. Shows like Rachel Zoe, America’s Next Top Model, and Project Runway offer a bird’s eye view into different areas of the fashion industry. Viewers get to see the industry from the perspective of a stylist (Rachel Zoe), model (ANTM), and designer (Project Runway). Some may wonder what could be next? A spin off of Project Runway of course! Creative souls now have Project Accessory to add to their weeknight lineup.
The host of this season’s show is Molly Sims. Each week she is giving 12 spunky designers a unique accessory challenge. Designers are expected to design and create funky accessories like necklaces and bags, as well as, 
transform fashions into functional accessories. Sounds Pretty Cool huh? This far in the season, the designers have already created bags, cuffs, and necklaces. The premiere season includes a judging panel with designer Kenneth Cole and In Style Editor Ariel Foxman. Tim Gunn is to Project runway as Eva Jeanbart-Lorenzotti to Project Accessory. Ms Lorenzotti‘s mission is to keep the designers on track as well as to provide support in times of high stress.
This season’s talented designers all have their own unique stories to go along with their accessories and personalities. Sit down and watch just one episode and you be the final judge. The past years have been all about clothing designers. Now it ‘s time to create a platform for those blessed with the artistic aesthetic for accessories.
