The wait is over! The goods are in and ready to be shopped through! For those not yet in the know – the newest H&M designer collaboration is with Versace. The collection was available for purchase Thursday, November 17. The Versace collaboration is one of the most anticipated designer partnerships. This is pretty exciting to everyday style searchers, in that they can find limited timepieces from the collection for affordable prices. Pieces in the collection go anywhere from $17.99-$200.00, but remember, authentic Versace pieces can be triple or quadruple the price of those shown in H&M.

For the launch of the line, Versace wanted to be as over the top as the colors used in the collection and asked both Prince and Nicki Minaj to perform. The collection is filled with wild colors and vibrant prints that dance across form fitting leather dresses, metallic dresses, and neon colored suits for men. The garments in the collection are constructed in the same manner that made Versace’s fashion house an international success. Hemlines are high; materials are luxurious, and have the highest glam appeal of anything to ever hang on H&M racks.[cincopa AAGA0y6KEBpe]

Donatella Versace herself showed up for the opening celebration as well as to meet some of her eager fashion fans Thursday morning. Fashion renegades lined up outside of the Regent Street store in London patiently waiting for the store opening in the name of fashion. When asked which piece was the most sought after, it seems to be the studded leather dress in black. Donatella showed up wearing the pink version to the opening.

H&M is setting a wonderful trend with their designer partnerships. Rumor has it that Tom Ford may be next to do a line with the fast fashion powerhouse. As for now, run; don’t walk to your nearest H&M. The London store sold out within thirty minutes of opening; so be one of the first to pick up your newest, maybe first, and certainly most affordable piece from Versace.
