Love Actually isn’t a new movie, by any means. It was released in 2003 and many people will probably see it at least once. If you’re looking for a great romantic drama to watch over the holiday season, Love Actually is the perfect choice.

Lora Schlesinger Gallery presents The Color of Light, a new series of elegant and ethereal metal works by New York artist Miya Ando. This will be the artist’s second solo exhibition with the gallery. The show opens December 10, 2011 and is on view through January 14, 2012.

New York, NY–The Economist will hold its World In 2012 Festival in New York City in early December. The festival celebrates the 26th edition of The Economist’s successful The World in…publication, which contains a collection of predictions and trends for the year ahead. The two-day event begins on December 1st with a gala dinner at The Angel Orensanz Foundation For The Arts and is followed by a day of discussion and debate on December 3rd at Cooper Union. Alec Baldwin, George Stephanopoulos, Moby and many other notable figures in politics, business, sports, arts and more will participate in the festival.

“Sister Wives” Changing America’s Views on Polygamy One Episode at a Time

Sister Wives premiered on TLC in 2010. It showcased the lives of the Brown family residing as a polygamist household. Kody Brown is married legally to Meri, his first wife. After Meri, Kody proceeded to have a spiritual marriage with three other women. These marriages are not recognized by the government of the United States but are recognized through their practiced religion as fundamentalist Mormons. Although Kody is not legally married to all four women, as soon as the show premiered the family went, and still is, under investigation for bigamy.
